Awesome poop bags! I used to buy the bulk ones on Amazon (the one that comes with like a thousand bags for thirteen bucks), but I noticed I kept finding those rolls every where because I had so many and became so careless with them! Also, I wanted to switch to something that was a little more environmentally friendly considering I have 2 German Shepherds and pick up 5-6 turds a day!
This is my second time buying a box of these, and I’m definitely more cautious of the dog poop bags now (30 rolls compared to 40-50 rolls). First, the scent is helpful in keeping the odors down because I place all the dog poop in a “dog poop bin” in my backyard. I don’t really care if the smell is appealing to me or not, because I’m only going to use it for a brief minute to pick up the turd, but it does help minimize the smell in my dog poop bin. That’s not to say you can’t smell the dog poop if you put your face in the bin, but rather, you don’t smell it walking past it.
The bags are also definitely leak proof. Attached a picture showing water in the bag with no leakage. I also use the bags to hold my coffee grinds when I empty my french press. Yes, I’m like Schmidt from New Girl who doesn’t want to get their trash dirty (haha)!
Overall, they serve their purpose, help minimize the poop smell in my dog poop bin, and are leak proof.

These are great bags, they are sturdy and easy to open and don’t have a odd scent to them. Been using them for a year now and only had a handful or less defective (not sealed on bottom /side) which happens sometimes seen it also on other brands, and the other brands happens a lot more. Clean scent not over powerful but helps a little for masking the poop smells that you don’t notice it while walking with it until you find a trash. Per a study done with Amazon that I read these are truly biodegradable, since I didn’t test myself not sure if true, but did believe the study. The inside of the roll is a cardboard tube that will break down vs other have plastic. I use a screw bag holder which is much better than the ones that snapped together nothing worse than dropping the leash and the bags dispenser pops open and bags roll everywhere, the screw dispenser keep that from happening. I live in an apartment where I have to walk my dog many times a day, which means I have to pick up poop right away, and I feel confident that these will protect my hands from the gross poop I am handling. It is worth the litte extra cost than other brands for pieces of mind that they will hold up and will not cause more non biodegradable waste.
